The grey plastic is easily damaged, but the product works very well. If you ever need extra resistance, putting anything under your foot to make it closer to the bands should do the trick. I never use the roller, but the slant board and resistance bands perform exactly as expected.

Has helped my foot pain

I started using this for plantar fasciitis issues. The roller part doesn't do much for me (I don't bother freezing it). But the bands and calf stretch have done wonders. I had a broken big toe that was not wanting to bend since it healed and this has helped it regain a little motion, as well. For what it is made of, it's overpriced, but for what it does, if you use it consistently, it's worth every penny.

Cured my plantar fasciitis

I tried so many things for my plantar fasciitis, including the shoe inserts that started tearing up the bottoms of my feet. I jettisoned the inserts and started using this for many hours a week under the theory that if my feet got strong enough, they'd stop freaking out about not having support. My rule was that I could play Civilization on the computer as long as I was using this things, so...for a lot of days I would be using it for six hours or more. Now I'm at a maintenance level and can use it just one night a week, using the strongest band (which sadly does not come with the base unit... you have to order stronger bands from the manufacturer). This thing has been worth any amount of money to me.

The only two exercises I use are hooking the band under my toes and stretching the band, and then working the top of my foot by hooking the band over my toes and bringing my toes up. At the beginning maybe warm up with the lightest band, then move up during your sessions as you can.
